And after all that traveling and all those hotel rooms and all those late night Jacuzzi, I have done more running around than a nudist couple stepping on a nest of yellow jackets. And I figured it was high time I shared some of them stories with all y’all. So I’m back to give you some learning, because like my Momma always says, “Even though vodka looks a whole lot like water, the end results are a hell of a lot different.” Trust me, I got a lot of learning to share. LISA ORZOLEK (Scenic Designer) is delighted to be designing Dixie’s Tube Top. Past designs for DCA include Love…Perfect…Change, Five Course Love, the original Girls Only (Denver, Des Moines, Winnipeg, and Charlotte), The Taffetas and My Way. Lisa is the Director of Scenic Design for the Denver Center Theatre Company where she was overseen or assisted on the designs for more than 200 productions in 21 seasons. Design credits for the DCTC include Shadowlands, Death of a Salesman, The Great Wall Story, The Liar, Superior Donuts, Othello, The Pillowman, and more. Other local Denver designs include, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, and Richard II. A Denver native, Lisa has a BFA in Scenic Design from Boston University.
CHARLES R. MACLEOD (Lighting Designer) For Denver Center Attractions, past design credits include Love… Perfect… Change, Girls Only (Denver, Des Moines, Winnipeg, and Charlotte), The Taffetas, My Way, The Last Five Years, and Always… Patsy Cline. Mr. MacLeod has been the resident Lighting Designer for the Denver Center Theatre Company since 1987. Past DCTC credits include Jackie & Me, Death of a Salesman, Grace, or the Art of Climbing, The 39 Steps, Reckless, The Diary of Anne Frank, Lydia, Dirty Stories, Copenhagen, A Christmas Carol, Love, Janis, Lost Highway: The Music and Legend of Hank Williams.
